Sometimes I feel like Elphaba.

You know, a funny-looking witch with no friends.

Here’s the thing: It drives me crazy when somebody doesn’t like me, even if I don’t like them. I also don’t like palpable tension. Am I the only one who feels the palpable tension and hates it?

If I’m going to be a funny-looking, friendless witch, I wish I could at least make like a real witch and not give a damn.

    ok. this is funny. not just because i feel this way too, but because I try so hard to not care about it, but I do. I hate it! Oh well.

    I hate it too! It makes me feel sick! Especially when I'm around people who get their kicks from that sort of tension! If you figure out a technique for not giving a damn....let me know! :-)
