I know that some of my nerdier male relatives will disown me for saying this, but I’m just not a fan of The Lord of the Rings. I haven’t read the books. Probably never will. The first movie was ok, I fell asleep during the second, and the third was a forgettable blur of giant elephants. I think I would have liked the movies more if A: the sexual tension between Sam and Frodo had ever been resolved (Brokeback Mount Doom, haha), and B: if it had musical numbers. With really sweet dance moves, and matching sweatshirts. And Leonard Nimoy.
ok.... is that spock singing about bilbo baggins, because if it is... well i just cant fathom it. i loved lord of the rings, but then my partner kept watching it on DVD over and over and over and over.... so now, not so much. E’s last blog post..
