The snow is gone, babies. Melted clean away. I officially have spring fever, which has manifested itself in a newfound love of gardening. When I was little, I became enamored of this book:

Cheesy post title, I know. My apologies, but it’s fitting.
I looooove Etsy. Yes, with that many o’s. Maybe even a few more. I have never been disappointed with an Etsy purchase, and I love the sweet little notes that sellers send along with my purchase. One of my favorite categories is paper ephemera, because I just love old things. I love old letters, old books, old movies, old music, even a few old people (just a few, because most old people are grumpy and difficult, at least the ones that come to my pharmacy). I happened upon this postcard and had to buy it because it is A: adorable, and B: exceedingly old.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a huge sucker for animal love stories.

My last post garnered more comments than any before it. There’s something about seeing people sing and dance that really strikes a chord. It’s joy. I don’t really care what the motivation behind the stunt was, the emotion it stirs up when seeing it, the emotion on the faces of those that witnessed it was pure, innocent joy. We don’t get much of that anymore, do we?

When was the last time you felt like this?
Ok, this video literally brings tears to my eyes. First of all, I’m moving to Europe, where the potential for adorable things like this exists. Secondly, OH MY LORD. Amazing. Third, this is what life should be like. We should be singing and dancing in train stations. I think if I had witnessed this in person I would have thought that I’d experienced the Rapture and had suddenly been whisked away to heaven. Because it wouldn’t be heaven without Julie Andrews. And I’m officially in love with any and all citizens of Antwerp. You know if that had happened in Grand Central Station in New York, there would have arisen a great chorus of “Ahhh, shaddup!” Kurt, pack your bags. We’re moving to Belgium.
Here is a picture of my fur children in their Easter dresses. Objective fact: cutest dogs ever.
